Full Memberships are available to the dues-paying full-time permanent employee of an Idaho city that has overall responsibility for directing or administering the city's public works programs, plans, projects, services and/or activities as well as to full-time City Engineers. Full members are allowed voting privileges and may serve on the Board or Directors and also as Officers of the AIPWP.
Associate Memberships shall be available to full-time permanent employees of cities in Idaho who are employed in the Public Works field but do not otherwise fulfill all of the requirements for Full Membership. Associate Members are allowed voting privileges but may not serve on the Board of Directors or as an Officer of the AIPWP.
Affiliate Memberships shall be available to public works professionals working in Idaho who are members of public works districts or associations, private public works design/consulting or contracting firms, and the like, and who do not otherwise fulfill all of the requirements for Full or Associate Membership status. Affiliate members are not allowed voting privileges and may not serve on the Board of Directors or as an Officer of the AIPWP but may serve as advisors.
The dues for Full and Associate Members shall be forty dollars ($40) annually from cities with more than twenty (20) public works employees engaged full-time in the Public Works area, twenty dollars ($20) annually if there are six (6) to twenty (20) public works employees and ten dollars ($10) annually if there are five (5) or fewer public works employees. Dues shall be collected on the first day of January of each year.
The dues for Affiliate Members are ten dollars ($10) annually per person or qualifying organization if located in the State of Idaho. Dues shall be collected on the first day of January of each year.
